Japanese Anime: Future boy Conan ( Mirai Shonen Konan) Derected by Hayao Miyazaki

Mirai Shonen Konan (未来少年コナン) Future boy Conan

I didn't know this is Hayao Miyazaki's fist directed Anime.

This is still popular anime in Japan.  One reason is Miyazaki's anime.  Also story.  I tried to find video on youtube but No Japanese and English.  I found lots of  Spanish and Arabic.   It is pretty interesting. mmmmmm Youtube don't care copyright of Spanish and Arabic????

Anyway,  This is not Detective Conan you know.  Just in case.

Wiki can more explain to you guys!

Future Boy Conan (未来少年コナン Mirai Shōnen Konan?) is an anime series, which premiered across Japan on the NHK network between April 4 and October 31, 1978 on the Tuesday 19:30-20:00 timeslot. The official English title used by Nippon Animation is Conan, The Boy in Future.
Spanning a total of 26 episodes, the series was produced by Nippon Animation and featured the likes of Hayao Miyazaki (director, character designs, storyboards), Isao Takahata (storyboards) and Yoshiyuki Tomino (storyboards). It is an adaptation of Alexander Key's novel The Incredible Tide.
A video game version of the series by Telenet Japan was released in 1992 on NEC's PC Engine console. The game was released on the Super CD-Rom format and was only available in Japan. In January 2011, NewGin announced a pachinko game titled Future Boy Conan: Love and Courage and Adventure (未来少年コナン〜愛と勇気と冒険と〜 Mirai Shōnen Konan: Ai to Yūki to Bōken?) based on the anime television series.[1]

Story:
The story begins in July 2008, during a time when humankind is faced with the threat of extinction. A devastating war fought between two major nations with ultra-magnetic weapons far greater than anything seen earlier brings about total chaos and destruction throughout the world, resulting in several earthquakes and tidal waves, the earth thrown off its axis, its crust being rocked by massive movements, and the five continents being torn completely apart and sinking deep below the sea.
An attempt by a group of people to flee to outer space failed, with their spaceships being forced back to earth and vanishing, thus shattering their hopes. But one of the spaceships narrowly escaped destruction and crash landed on a small island which had miraculously survived the devastation. The crew members of the spaceship settled there, as if they were seeds sown on the island.
Amidst these survivors, a boy named Conan is born on October 2010, bringing a new ray of hope to the earth. After several years, during which most of the other survivors had died and the only people left on the island were Conan and his grandfather, he meets a young girl named Lana, and their adventure begins.
Between the different islands left in the world: Industria, High Harbor, Remnant, and others, the group travel and conflict rises between good and evil.

Old Japanese Anime & Manga: Sarutobi E-chan さるとびエッちゃん By Shotaro Ishinomori

Sarutobi E-chan(さるとびエッちゃん)

This is old Manga of E-chan from Japanese auction.

Sarutobi=Jump like monky
E-chan=Girls name

So, This is a Japanese "Pippi Longstocking" Manga by Shotaro Ishinomori   He is one of very famous Manga artist in Japan.  Cyborg 009 is written by him.

I remember just little bit about this anime.  I was too small then.  However, I remember I had a Sarutobi E-chan Yukata(Summer Kimono) and I wore the yukata and my mom took me Matsuri(festival).  It's good memory.

Manga stared 1964.  Then title was "Okashina Okashina Okashina anoko"  おかしな おかしな おかしな あの子 mean weird weird weird  kid.

Anime stared October 4 1971 and ended March 27 1972.

I found only opening & ending song.

Litte more about  E-chan.

Ecchan appears to be a normal little girl, but appearances can be deceptive. She is descended from the great ninja Sasuke Sarutobi, and possesses ninja skills of her own. Ecchan is also capable of all sorts of extraordinary feats: she can communicate with animals, possesses hypnotic and telepathic abilities, and is stronger and more intelligent than normal girls of her age. But despite all this, Ecchan is still only a young girl, and like any young girl makes mistakes. But with the help of her friends Miko, Taihei and her dog Buku, everything always turns out right.
Since it was cancelled due to low ratings, Ecchan does not have a proper ending. The last episode focuses around an American Ecchan doppelganger named Eiko, who wants nothing more than to see Mount Fuji.

Japanese Old Anime: Ikkyu-San (Little witted monk)

Ikkyuu-san is Japanese anime had show broadcast since October 15 1975 to June 28 1982.

Ikkyu-san is little witted Buddhist monk.

一休(Ikkyu)
さん(San)=Mr, Mrs.,Ms., or Miss

One of  my memory of Ikkyu-san is team song.  I song the team song a lot.  Also I was enjoying to watch his quick fun answer to people who gave him some mean questions.

Story:
Ikkyū-san (一休さん?) is an anime based on the historical Zen Buddhist monk Ikkyū that follows his mischievous adventures as a child during his stay at Ankoku Temple. In each episode, Ikkyū relies on his intelligence and wit to solve all types of problems, from distraught farmers to greedy merchants.
The anime was well received by all ages in Japan and throughout Asia, as it does not rely on violence. Even when violence appears, it is usually presented in a mild or necessary way (for example, there are occasional references to the Ōnin War). A running gag of Ikkyū-san is that whenever Ikkyū is trying to think of a plan, he sits in a lotus position, wets his two index fingers, and rotates them above his head.

Japanese Anime: Tiger Mask (Japanese Wresting Anime)

I didn't know that "Tiger Mask" was Manga series.  In my memory Tiger Mask was just anime series in early 70s.

Tiger Mask(タイガーマスク)

It was pretty popular TV series in Japan in 70s.  Later, real processional wrestler was wrestling wearing Tiger Mask in the ring in 80s.

Story:
Tiger Mask (タイガーマスク Taigā Masuku?) is a Japanese manga series written by Ikki Kajiwara and illustrated by Naoki Tsuji. The series was first published in Kodansha's Bokura Magazine from 1968 to 1971 and was later published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 1970 to 1971. It was later adapted into an anime series by Toei Animation which first aired on Yomiuri TV on October 2, 1969 and ended its run on September 30, 1971, airing 105 episodes. In real life, the name has been used by a succession of Japanese professional wrestling characters as a gimmick. The Tiger Mask persona is instantly recognizable by its trademark mask, designed to look like a tiger's head, as well as the combination of high flying attacks and martial arts in the ring.

Japanese Manga: Mermaid Saga (Ningyo no Mori) by Rumiko Takahashi

This is one of my favorite Manga.

Japanese tile is 人魚の森(Ningyo no mori)

人魚(Ningyo)=Mermaid
森(Mori)=Forest

English tile is Mermaid Saga.  So, real Japanese tile mean Forest of Mermaid.

This is dark fantasy.

The author is Rumiko Takahashi known as "Urusei yatsura" and d"Inuyasha"

Manga Story:
The original manga was serialised in Shōnen Sunday, starting in 1984. In total there are 14 episodes.
The first tankōbon was Ningyo no Mori, named after the third story within it (or Rumic World: Ningyo no Mori in its OVA adaptation.[1]) The second tankōbon, Ningyo no Kizu was then released in Japan, leaving out two stories: "Yasha no Hitomi" and "Saigo no Kao". These stories were not available then the book came out. The serie was re-released in Shinsoban format in 2003. Now in three volumes and with the two episodes "Yasha no Hitomi" and "Saigo no Kao". Later a new edition, in four volumes, with the same 14 episodes were released.
In US the manga was first released in three volumes, called Mermaid Forest, Mermaid's Scar and Mermaid's Gaze. Later in four books, named volume 1-4.
